The meeting was held in Minago with Ms. Jeanette
Kwizera, who is responsible for the national management and supervision of
cooperatives. She coordinates
cooperatives located in the provinces of Ruyigi,
Kirundo, Muyinga, Ngozi, Cankuzo, and Kayanza, thereby playing a
central role in the development and smooth operation
of cooperatives throughout Burundi.
Her visit to Minago took place in a
warm and friendly atmosphere. Enthusiastically welcomed by the
local population and cooperative members, Ms.
Jeanette Kwizera was able to engage with beneficiaries, listen to
their concerns, and encourage their efforts. This reception
demonstrates the trust and recognition accorded to
her leadership and commitment to
community development.
This visit strengthens collaboration among cooperatives and
underscores the importance of local supervision to
ensure efficient, supportive, and sustainable management of
cooperative initiatives in Burundi.
