Support for the agricultural sector is a crucial lever to sustainably improve the
living conditions of vulnerable populations. As the primary source of income
for many families, agriculture offers considerable potential to strengthen
food security, increase incomes, and promote household autonomy.
The recent distribution of bean seeds to 735 households (5 kg per household) in the
Kirundo province, particularly in the Busoni commune, illustrates the positive impact of
such initiatives. By providing quality seeds and encouraging the adoption of
improved agricultural practices, this action addresses immediate needs while preparing
a more stable and sustainable future for the beneficiaries.
